Terms of Service

These terms form the agreement between you and UCHOOSETHENEWS LIMITED for use of Curato. By creating an account, subscribing or using the studio, you agree to them.

Last updated: 13 July 2026 · UCHOOSETHENEWS LIMITED · Governing law: England and Wales

1. The service

Curato is an online-only, digital SaaS editorial and publishing studio. It drafts issues and generates image assets and short teaser reels from the material you provide, for you to verify, export and publish yourself. It is a creation and layout tool. It is not a news agency, and it does not host, publish or distribute your content on your behalf.

Curato delivers digital subscriptions and downloadable files only. There are no physical goods, no shipping, and no in-person, repair or installation services. We do not provide legal, medical or financial advice and do not guarantee any publishing outcome.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 to use Curato; users aged 13–17 need a parent or guardian's consent. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Subscriptions, billing and allowances

Plans are recurring subscriptions billed in USD (monthly or yearly) through our payment provider. Each paid plan includes a monthly issue allowance that does not roll over. There are no credit packs and no stored balances; allowances are service usage, not withdrawable funds. Prices are shown on the pricing page and billing appears on your statement as CURATO. We may change prices with notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not use Curato to impersonate real publications, reporters or organisations, or to create misinformation, defamation, harassment or election manipulation.

6. Your content and licence

You keep ownership of the material you provide and the results you generate, as set out in our Content License. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for verifying its accuracy.

7. AI-generated output

Output is generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate, outdated or invented. It is a draft, not a statement of fact, and not legal, medical or financial advice. See the AI Disclaimer. You must review and verify output before publishing.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Curato available but may modify, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content you choose to publish. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law and contact
